We can all agree that there’s nothing better on a wind chilled winter day than a warm, spiked drink. Whether you go for a classic like the hot toddy or something a bit more adventurous like a hot buttered rum, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite hot cocktails in the city. Cheers to a cozy winter!

Charlie Bird

Charlie Bird has a new menu of hot drinks to keep you warm. They’re perfect for weeknight drinks, brunch or just a nightcap! One of our favorites is the spiked Hot Chocolate with bourbon, maraschino, homemade chocolate and angostura marshmallow, yum!

Bar Pisellino

Bar Pisellino is an all-day venue for espresso and aperitivi but one thing we can’t help but order is the Bianco Nero, their version of an Irish Coffee. The cocktail features Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Demerara syrup, coffee, and top it with their to die for Anisette Cream, garnished with a star anise. You’ll thank us later.

Kindred

For six weeks Kindred is running an Après-Ski pop-up from 4-11pm Wednesdays-Saturdays. It’s the perfect way to embrace the cooler weather and enjoy Alpine themed food and drinks to keep you warm, like a hot buttered rum with chai, almond grappa and spiced butter. If you’re looking for a classic wine, the wines by the glass are inspired by the surrounding Alpine regions reaching inland from the coast. Their extensive bottle list is also available to enjoy on-premise in their heated chalet or to take home. Grab a bite and hot cocktail and enjoy a winter vacation right here in NYC.

Dante

Dante knows how to get in the winter spirit with their very own Autumnal Drinking menu with 5 delicious hot cocktails you can enjoy on rotation. One of our favorites (we really love all of them) include the Hot Buttered Rum with buttered santa teresa, all spice, amontillado, rooibos and raspberry 14.

Sugar Monk

ar Monk pays homage to the uptown speakeasies of Harlem’s past. This season, they are serving up a delicious hot toddy made with their own Palatine Amaro and Michter’s Bourbon. Captain Cook’s Toddy is the perfect treat to stay warm.
